We live very close so decided to try their take out pizza. I didn't check the pizza before leaving with it (my bad) so only discovered when I got home that they'd given us the wrong pizza. Went right back, they quickly made the correct pizza and even let us keep the wrong one. Pizza was really good and the customer service even better. I also found out that since we are locals, we can get a 10% discount if we eat there, so we will!

Excelente experience! First time in Myrtle Beach for a family vacation and I wanted to treat my partner to a solo dining date. After doing some research, we found Hot Tomato as a top recommendation through Yelp - conveniently located in walking distance of our resort. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful. Live music playing from a very talented and interactive performer! The staff were friendly and polite. Our waitress (hate that I can't remember her name - she was so sweet! She was a brunette!) was absolutely wonderful and accommodating and had the most radiant smile. The food was ordered fresh and quite the helping. We definitely took home leftovers. I we had the stuffed mushrooms to start - a small plate for sharing but pack a flavorful punch! A nice please of sweet and savory. For dinner, I had the fettuccine Alfredo and requested to add broccoli rabe and mushrooms with no problems. Overall, a wonderful evening was had!

I'm going 4 stars here. It would be a solid 5, if not for a couple quirky things. First the good: The gnocchi is the best I've ever had. We've been here three times and it is my go to dish. Be sure to add a meat, I prefer the meatballs. I tried my wife's lasagna and it was good too. Other family members enjoyed the cheese ravioli and manicotti. The homemade bread and bruschetta are good appetizers! All of the food was fresh, everyone was happy. You can sit in the main restaurant, the trendy bar area, or outdoors on a nice evening. The quirky: The biggest negative for me was they would not let me join the "Tomato Rewards" program even though there are literally signs in the front of the restaurant telling people to join. The waitress told me that they "aren't allowed to sign up any more members this month" (it was late July). Why advertise then? The other thing that was weird was the restaurant rules being posted in a couple of places. I think it takes away from the ambiance. Although, I give them a pass on this because clearly they've had issues with unreasonable customers if they felt obligated to post the rules. But let me in the rewards program! : ) Next time we are in town, which is often, we will be back.
